Digestive Problems can be helped with In-Liven

A number of years ago I was having big problems with digestion.  At that time I was was introduced to a Certified Organic Personal/Wellness Product line to use.  In fact I have been using this product line for almost 4 years now.  There are a couple of products that are my favourites.  I purchase a Certified Organic Mint Toothpaste and Certified Organic Deodorant each and every month.

Exercise and Aging, is there a connection?

Ok I really do like to exercise.  I do something everyday for myself.  I life weights, move kettlebells, ride a bike, go for a walk or run outside, in the summer I cut grass for many hours, and for the most part I enjoy it all.  Exercise or movement makes me feel alive!  It is challenging physically and mentally.  And keeping active helps control weight which is definitely important to slow the aging process.

I am always looking for  information that will help me and my clients age better!  And what I mean by that is to be healthier as we get older.  To me there would be nothing worse than getting older and being unable to enjoy life.  So I keep moving to be able to keep moving.

Dr de Grey discusses Resveratrol and the possibilities.  Resveratrol comes from Red Wine and in fact is called the French Paradox.  The French drink Red Wine and tend not to suffer from the Diseases of Aging like North Americans.  Thus the French Paradox.   I have been taking Resveratrol for the past many years in a product  called Genesis with X’Tranol 24  I like it very much and because he included it in the video it is my feeling to include it here.

Anti Aging!

There is a thought in certain circles that money is simply energy!  And depending how one feels about this energy shows up in all different ways in life!   I find this most fascinating and a few years ago was fortunate to go to a T.Harv Eker workshop, Millionaire Mind Intensive.  This seminar was a full 3 days and lived up to its name Intensive.  The hours for the seminar were in fact very long, very intense yet the learning was powerful and long lasting.  I use a lot of the info I learned to this day.

What is quality?

OK so I have posted some solid info on Metabolic Typing.  I personally decide each day to eat for my Metabolic Type, Protein Type.  However when I was first introduced to Metabolic Typing I was well let’s say “freaked out”  by what I was reading.  Can you imagine reading that fat, meat would be OK and even healthy!  It was so opposite to what we hear in the media, or how I was trained up to that point.  So at that time I put the info aside and continued on the way Society suggests we eat.

Fast forward a few years, Digestive problems began, I took HLC 1. revisited the Metabolic Typing, started eating for my Protein Type and within 2 days my digestion began to improve!  Really quite remarkable.  And to this day 4 years later when I stick to the Metabolic Typing program I feel great.

One of the other things I do for myself is take supplements!  I eat organic or local with both my meat and vegetable/fruits.  For me it is simply a matter of being sure I am getting all my nutrition daily.  My choice for supplements is Symmetry Direct .  I have been using Symmetry’s products for over 16 years.  They are very high quality, I get them delivered to my home each and every month.  I actually like them so much that I sell them to clients, family, friends and develop a global business with them.

Metabolic Typing and Eating Right For Your Type

In my Personal Training and Wellness business I provide a number of services for my clients.  One of those services is Metabolic Typing.  What is Metabolic Typing?  “Metabolic Typing is a groundbreaking technology that takes the guesswork out of nutritional science.  It is a system you or anyone can use to cut rapidly through the information glut of confusing fact and opinion in order to identify your own unique nutritional requirements.”

I am a Protein Type and within 2 days of eating for my type I began to feel like a different person.  The digestive challenges I had been having at that time disappeared.

What will it take to make change?

Change.  What does that mean to you?  To me it means improving on who I am.  It means growing as a human being.  It means getting better at this thing called life.

Why I am writing about change on my Personal Training & Wellness website?  Isn’t change the goal when we decide to begin an exercise program?  Isn’t change the goal when we decide to reduce our weight?  Isn’t change the goal when we decide to eat Organically grown food?  Isn’t change the goal when we decide to quit smoking, eating junk food?

Change: “Make or become different”.

A friend recently told me that when it comes to exercise, changing some of the not so good habits she has there is no incentive to change.  She knows she is not doing enough when it comes to exercise and diet yet it is not important to her.  I totally got it!  She is a very smart gal, has a great job, works a lot, plays golf, goes to the cottage, has a life.  She might not feel a 100% however her family history is long, with no real serious health issues and she has no real reason to make any changes  because of that.

I was told once that for most of us to change our health we must be sitting on the cliff with 2 wheels already over and the car teetering!  This is when we begin to pray and ask for help to make the changes necessary for a good, long healthy life.  Why must it get to that point?

So my question is what will it take to make change?  What will you do to improve your thoughts?  What will you do to move more?  What will you do to eat less food that does not fuel your body in the best way?  What will you do to drink more water?  What will you do to get better sleep?  What will you do to bring more joy & laughter into your life?

Today I am adding meditation to my wellness plan.  It is a challenge however calming the mind, calms the body and if I can do that it is a good thing.  20 minutes a day.  I have 20 minutes and can do that.

Time to Re Launch Vision Quest Performance Coaching!

Vision Quest Performance Coaching was launched in 2001.  At that time I was recently certified in Personal Training.  Most people don’t enjoy working out however it is something I have always really enjoyed doing.  Lifting weights, pushing myself, focusing on getting stronger, having better balance, reducing my size give me joy.  Finding out how far I can push myself is a really cool thing for me to do partially because I have been challenged by different health issues over the years.  Yet I don’t take prescription drugs, continue to train, just finished The Friends For Life Bike Rally where we rode our bikes from Toronto to Montreal, 660k in 6 days.  It was awesome and I did it.  Actually the day before we were leaving my Chiropractor told me she was amazed that I was making the trip because only 8 months prior I had an accident where I tore my MCL, Meniscus and hurt my back in a way that I could not lie down in bed for over 2 weeks.

So I haven’t trained clients in a year.  Haven’t worked with clients in a while however I am now excited to begin working with clients who want to discover that Athlete inside!  I particularly focus my training working with women who want to find their inner athlete because we all have one inside us even if you don’t think it or believe it.

Our world is set up athletically.  We are meant to move athletically and are taught this from a young age.   It doesn’t really matter if we are good at athletics or not the coaching begins early.  We have teams in business, our family is a team.  We coach our children in the ways of the world.   We play on teams whether they be sports teams or debate teams.  All of these events help us to decide how we feel about our own athletic ability whether it is true or not.

What I passionately love to do is help women see they are strong, athletic in their own way through exercise and help them begin to leave a legacy for the world.

Along with Personal Training in your home or mine, I help clients with holistic lifestyle coaching, nutritional coaching, supplements that help bridge the gap between the food we eat and lack of nutrition we are getting today.
